This is a collection of yummy recipes and useful kitchen tips I’ve had bookmarked in my browser for ages. I’ve collected them all in one post here as much for my convenience as your enjoyment, but I do hope you enjoy them.

- Amaranth & Quinoa gluten-free chocolate cake. This is no second-rate knockoff of flourless chocolate cake for the gluten allergic – this is a delicious recipe that uses two gluten-free flours that go really well with the flavor of dark chocolate.

- To be safe, don’t use hot tap water in food prep. It’s not likely to carry nasties from the hot water tank where it’s been sitting or from corroded plumbing under your home, but it can happen.
