We do not flush #1 until the third round to conserve water.I am planing on using a small water bottle in the tank. I also do alot of what has been mentioned. also, take thge water you cook your veggies in and save to make soup at the end of the week. My friend keeps a bucket in her kitchen sink to rinse fruits etc along w/ hand washing. Uses that water to flush her toilets or water the big spruce.
