5 things you can do with a fabric softener dryer sheet

These are really handy uses for dryer sheets – and since all of them will work with used sheets, it’s a form of reusing/recycling.

1. When you get static cling, run a used sheet of fabric softener over your clothes.
2. Deodorize shoes by sticking a sheet in them overnight.
3. Leave a used sheet in your closet or a drawer – anywhere you would put a sachet – to keep clothes smelling fresh.
4. Rub a used sheet over the TV screen to reduce dust-attracting static electricity.
5. Control flyaway hair by rubbing a used sheet over your hair.
