5 Ways to reuse old business cards
by Jen (March 22, 2008)
Business cards can be such a waste. Some of us get them automatically from employers even though we’ll never pass a single one out. Others end up collecting them from business contacts, then transferring them into an electronic database, never to be used again.
Instead of just tossing them in the paper recycling bin, here are some ways you can reuse old business cards, some obvious, some you might not have thought of:
- Use them as bookmarks.
- Keep a stack by the phone to take notes (or wherever you take notes). A few will fit perfectly into a wallet, so you’ll always have them handy for writing down ideas or reminders.
- Cover the business side with gift wrap to match a present you’re wrapping, and use the blank side to write the message.
- Flashcards for kids; cue cards for presentations.
- Use them for backing photos in scrapbooks.
