Zicam and Airborne: Cold Season Must Haves

by Jen (January 8, 2007)

‘Tis the cold and flu season. No matter how many times you wash your hands, no matter how careful you are to avoid sick people, you’re still vulnerable because these viruses are most contagious before you come down with symptoms. There’s no sure way to avoid them.

That doesn’t mean it’s hopeless, though. There are two products I highly recommend checking out:
Airborne is supposed to protect you from catching other people’s colds. Many people I know swear by it (and it’s full of vitamins, minerals and herbs known to boost your immune system, so what’s the harm?).

Zicam is supposed to shorten the duration of a cold. Obviously you can’t know for sure a cold would’ve been longer without it, but I can tell you it makes colds feel shorter, and that’s worth it.
