A secret place to hide jewelry

If you’ve got jewelry that’s very important to you or have reason to think professional thieves might be dropping by your home, then you should probably store your jewelry in a safety deposit box or some other off-site, secure solution. But if you’re just worried about the kids getting into your jewelry box and breaking/losing/swallowing/permanently tangling something, there’s a place you can hide jewelry that they’ll probably never look:

In your clothes, in the closet.

• Necklaces and many bracelets/anklets can simply be draped over hangers under shirts
• Earrings and other small baubles can be placed in a bag which you clip or tie to the hanger

A really short, sweet tip that’s very useful.
