Apple Airport won’t connect with a certain site
Twice now, my Airport Express wireless router has decided not to let me access Bohemian Revolution. The first time, it eventually fixed itself after several days. Last night, I was determined to find a solution. It seems I’m not the only person who’s found their Airport router blocking access to just one site. But no one offered a proven solution.
After hours of going nuts trying things that should’ve worked, I found a solution:
- Turn off modem and router.
- Wait at least 5 minutes (I gave it an hour while I went out running errands).
- Turn it back on.
That fixed everything. It also boosted the speed of my internet connection. I’m going to try doing this every week or so (it’s also good for the environment to turn off these devices when we don’t need them) and see if it keeps my connection from slowing down over time, like it usually does.
