Avoid ATM fees like the plague

It may seem obvious to many of you, but I can’t tell you how man ystruggling  young friends I have who get cash out of any old ATM with no consideration for the fees.

No, people! No no no no no!

The fees can cost you anywhere from $1 to $3. If you get money out every week, you could be losing over $150 per year in fees. If you’re not financially secure, that’s a lot of money - think of it in terms of utility bills. Would you make an effort to go only to certain ATMs if it meant three months of free electricity?
