Bake your own energy bars to avoid food allergies

Lifehacker recently suggested baking your own energy bars to save money.  Another advantage to this approach is that you can avoid ingredients you’re allergic or sensitive to (most commercial bars contain soy protein and/or wheat, which are among the top three food allergens).  Here are some recipes for homemade energy bars:
