If you want to make sure your shopping dollars support your politics, BuyBlue.org is a great resource. As the name implies, it’s geared toward Democrats in the US, but Republicans can just as easily use it to see which companies they want to support, and people outside the US who care about American policies can use it to make choices about which American companies they care to fund with their spending.

The site’s main function is to tell you how much money various companies donate to which party. The ranked listings give you the most comprehensive information there. BB also collects articles about companies’ performance in regards to:

• Labor and Human Rights
• Environment
• Equal Employment
• Social Responsibility
• Industry Practices

There’s also a blog with stories about current business affairs.
