Cleaning gunky wax off candle holders

Have dried candlewax in or on holders you need to clean? Try melting the wax on a low setting in the microwave but be sure the holder doesn’t have gold trim or anything that can melt or burn. Soft, warm wax is more pliable and should scrape off easily.
