Crafts for the Olympics
by Jen (July 30, 2008)
DIYLife has some great links to craft projects you can do for the Olympics, like the tissue paper torch pictured here. Making these crafts with kids is a great way to get them into the spirit of the games and educate them on the history of the Olympics and China.
And those aren’t the only ones out there:
- Olympics-themed coloring pages. Just print the pages you want, supply crayons, and in a few minutes you’ll have refrigerator art.
- Make miniature boats and host your own Olympic boat race in a kiddie pool or swimming pool.
- Olympic cookies and donuts. Let the kids make edible versions of the Olympic rings.
