Embed Outlook in your desktop

month_large.thumbnailLifeHacker profiled this recently, and it’s the coolest thing I’ve played with in ages: a free app for Windows that embeds Outlook in your desktop so it’s always there when you go to your desktop. You can have it show the Calendar (my choice, like LifeHacker’s), your Inbox, Contacts, Notes or Tasks. If in your Outlook install you have Tasks showing with your calendar, then you can have the same combination on your desktop. Very easy install, very easy to configure.

Also, you can actually work Outlook from the desktop embed, so you don’t even have to have Outlook running separately. It’s genius.
