Fabric-covered Altoid tins for small supplies

by Jen

Green Bee has a tutorial for covering Altoid tins in fabric to make cute and convenient cases for sewing supplies or anything else you want to put in them.

I had a few of these cute blank Altiod-like tins laying around and I thought they would be perfect little containers for sewing or knitting supplies. So I covered them in fabric, lined them with felt, and I have cute little tins to store my supplies in. Super simple, but here’s how I did it.

It involves no sewing at all – you’re just gluing fabric onto the case. It could be great for storing spare keys, mementos, a few first aid supplies. It would also make an adorable party favor box.
