Fabric paint your own designer t-shirts
by Jen
You don’t need any artistic talent to paint yourself an awesome-looking t-shirt that’s completely unique and one of a kind. You just need a set of fabric paints – I prefer flat ones, but they also make puffy and sparkly and every kind you can think of – and a t-shirt you don’t mind ruining. Chances are you won’t ruin it, but just in case (and especially when you’re getting started). Oh, and you’ll need some paintbrushes. Cheap ones from a drugstore or Target will do just fine. They also make fabric painting pens and ballpoint tubes and spray-painting equipment and all sorts of stuff – a visit to your local Ma & Pa craft shop or a Michaels would be worth your while here.
You can trace a design by placing it under the t-shirt. The paint might come through onto the design, so make sure it’s a photocopy or something you don’t mind ruining. Just start painting. If you don’t want to do a picture, just start dabbing on colors you like and layering them to get a funky effect. While a design right in the middle of the t-shirt’s front is cool, you consider doing something on the sleeves, on the back, or just on a corner of the front. Look at shirts made by designers to get inspiration.
After you’re done with your painting, iron the shirt as the paint packaging instructs to set the design, and you’ve got your own original designer shirt.

Here might be a few more ideas for your fabric paint. Go to BubblePacific.Blogspot.com or go to red bubble search BubblePacific. These are all original works of art done with fabric paint. But the manufacturer prefers to call it designer paint.
