Free Alternatives to Word

by Jen (July 20, 2007)

Microsoft Word can sometimes get in your way. The size of files it saves is huge compared to other word processors, and sometimes documents get corrupted by the very stuff that makes Word so powerful. If you ever feel like trading in a few of those high-powered features for the speed, lightness and reliability of a good free word processor, WebWorkerDaily has some very good suggestions.

I would add WriteWith to that list.
