Free books to download

by Jen (April 26, 2007)

I feel silly. I just now discovered Project Gutenberg, which has a bunch of books I’ve been meaning to check out one of these days - now I can just download them for free onto my PDA and go read them at a coffee shop. (They have some books on audio, too, for those of you with long commutes or who like to listen to books while you’re doing something else.)

I’ve been using DailyLit for a while, but I’m not a daily reader. My time to read comes in chunks here and there, so having it all at once might be my best option. But if you want to push yourself to read every day (it’s good for keeping your brain active and relaxing), DailyLit may be the way to go.

Friedbeef was kind enough to provide several more options, which I’ll have to check out, in these two posts: 1, 2.
