Free kids books online
by Jen
Reading isn’t just an important skill for kids to have to get along in the world. It stimulates their minds and jumpstarts the whole learning process.
Not every kid has access to a library full of great books, however. The Rosetta Project is a website hosting electronic and audio versions of kids books – some classics and some written by authors who contribute their work. They are also working to translate these books into as many languages as possible to make these stories even more accessible to children around the world.
If you have kids, work with kids, or know someone who does, this is a great resource. And if you’ve ever thought about writing a kids’ book, you might consider contributing an original book to the site.
