Generation Coasters

Coffee Pot People has instructions for making beautiful coasters like these from old family photos, useless CDs, glue, felt and adhesive clear vinyl. You really can’t beat these for a thoughtful homemade gift project.

While the generations theme is fantastic, there are so many ways you could go with this:

• Make coasters from photos of scenic vacations.
• Make coasters from wedding reception photos, graduation ceremony photos, or someone’s birthday or anniversary party.
• Make coasters from pictures in magazines or old album covers.
• Download kitschy 1950′s pics with funny captions (or make your own).

If you sell these and don’t use your own pictures, make sure you’re not infringing on anyone’s copyright.
