Get conversational in a foreign language for free

Mango is a new free service that gives you online lessons in 11 different languages, and the reviews are good. It lets you quiz yourself as you learn so you can see how you’re improving. Each language has about 100 lessons, so it is fairly comprehensive - at least enough to help out on a vacation. The format is slideshows, and you’ll need audio to hear the words being pronounced.

Two ESL courses are also included - for Polish and Spanish speakers.
