Give Windows XP the best features of Vista
by Jen (May 24, 2008)
Windows’ newest operating system Vista is not popular with everyone. Some object to the cost, and others object to it because it uses a lot more computing power than XP does, which means you’ll need a better computer than your current one to get the performance you had with XP in Vista. It’s kind of ridiculous, really.
But LifeHacker is correct in saying there are some nice things about Vista, and the good news is you can use free software downloads to get many of those features in XP. They have a list of desirable Vista features, each with several free options for doing the same thing in XP.
