Gmail keyboard shortcuts

by Jen (March 25, 2007)

I’ve been looking for this - a way to avoid making 6 moves with my mouse every time I want to do something in Gmail.  Here’s a list of keyboard shortcuts for Gmail that will reduce my repetitive mouse motions and maybe save me a little time (I love keyboard shortcuts).

I’ll probably make the most use of “reply”, “compose” and “report spam” (maybe not in that order).   But that “escape from input field” option might save me a lot of headaches, too.

I don’t think I will ever remember all of those, the spam button may be about all. I also downloaded Shortkeys Lite from cnet and use that for shortkeys as well, like my email address and website- it allows up to 15 shortkeys in the free version.

That sounds cool - I’ll have to check it out.

I just printed it off the list so I could reference it. Then I forgot to use it today. :D It’s going to be one of those weeks.
