How to convert documents to PDF by email

by Jen (February 20, 2008)

In the past, I’ve covered a simple way to convert to PDF any file you can print - browser pages, Word docs, whatever. But when you’re on a computer that doesn’t have that software, or you’re using a PDA or phone, here’s another solution: email the file to an email address and get it emailed back as a PDF.

Be sure to read the comments on that post to see which services might add advertisements to your documents or do other consumer-unfriendly things. It could be worth it in some cases for the convenience, but as long as you know what to expect you won’t have any surprises.
