How to Declutter one day at a time
by Jen
This is uncanny: I was just thinking last night that maybe the abominable clutter in my bedroom could be cleared away by cleaning up at least one thing every day. (Then maybe I can get to (and give away) that horrific, space-wasting, useless-shaped desk I bought two years ago when nothing decent was available because everything’s made in China and they were having a dock laborer’s strike or something – note to self: next time, just do without until retail industry kindly removes its head from its ass).
With freakishly good timing, My Simpler Life is offering a calendar of daily steps toward decluttering. This is going to be a great source of ideas, even though I doubt I’ll follow it precisely. We all know the basics of decluttering (straighten up stuff), but sometimes you need the jump start of someone else’s suggestion.
