It’s “go hug a flower” day here at Bohemian Revolution…
I don’t like to write articles where I explain why I haven’t written many articles lately. I like for every post around here to be informative and impersonal. You’re not here to hear my troubles! But it’s been eight days since my last post, and for the life of me, I cannot get it together to write an informative post today.
Last week, I moved. It was a very difficult move that came after a protracted legal battle with an unethical and irresponsible owner/landlord. It’s been hell for months now – that’s why you’ve only been getting a few posts a week, whereas I used to post almost daily. On top of all this, I’ve had car repairs, fridge repairs, a killer tetanus booster, and various other sudden interruptions that demanded my full attention.
So if you want to feel you’ve gotten something useful out of this post, I suppose you could consider it a little reminder that we are humans, not robots, and no matter how many clever organization strategies and “tips” we come up with for better living, the world outside of your control is a lot bigger than the world that’s within your control. Sometimes things happen that force you to let other things slide.
The good news is: expect some interesting posts in the near future. I found a number of interesting solutions to various problems that came up. Some of them may even qualify as, gasp, tutorials!
In the meantime, I encourage you to take a moment today, no matter what’s going on, and spend it in your happy place. Smell a rose, call a friend, or just imagine yourself having a great time at something.

Or get a daily digest by email:
Jen, sorry to hear that things haven’t been “groovy” lately for you. Rest assured that better days are coming. Your advice is well taken, as I took have had a rather crappy week at least. Trying to be positive about it all!
Good luck and may all your flowers smell wonderful!
