Make a DIY fabric coupon holder
Last year, I needed something to organize notes and receipts in my purse. A coupon holder seemed perfect… except they’re all plastic. I hate plastic. Not only is it non-biodegradable and occasionally toxic, I don’t like the texture of it. The sounds it makes. I prefer fabric, wood, metal, glass. I eventually gave up looking and made do with a little fabric checkbook a friend brought me from Japan.
But MamaMay has a better solution with her DIY fabric coupon holder. She has complete instructions with plenty of photographs to help you make this funky & functional coupon wallet. I’m sure you could make your own variations on it, too. As she points out:
Other uses:
Money carrier, note cards/flashcards, credit cards, pictures, business cards, business papers, and homework just to name a few. Of course you can make them bigger or smaller mattering on what you need.
Mostly what I need is to separate my personal receipts from my tax deductible receipts.
