Make a fruit bowl out of toilet paper rolls
No, seriously. You can make a really cool fruit holder out of rolls from toilet paper and paper towels, some paint and some glue. It has a totally different look from a fruit bowl and may not work for fruits that aren’t round – like bananas. The rolls stand up, glued into place beside each other, and the fruit sits atop the end of each roll.
But you could work a short, open box into the middle of all that – painted to look like the rest and glued in where you want it – that would hold any fruit that doesn’t want to perch on top of one of the rolls.
