Make a living will online

by Jen (March 19, 2007)

A living will specifies what you want done for your healthcare, should you be incapacitated and unable to speak for yourself. Do you want your family to exhaust all medical means to keep you alive? Or is there a limit - drawn by your personal beliefs or your religion - that you wouldn’t want them to exceed?

LegalDocs allows you to draw up a living will online. It’ll be specific to your state, and yes, it’ll be valid as long as you follow the instructions for having it properly witnessed.

Also, have this conversation with your family and loved ones! It’s uncomfortable and no one likes talking about it. But if any of them suddenly find themselves in a position to make these decisions for you, they’ll actually know what you want and that will make it easier for them to know they’re doing the right things for you.
