Wacky Wednesday: Make your own fortune cookies

It’s not that hard to bake your own fortune cookies. WikiHow’s got the instructions. And you can make them really special by dipping them in chocolate – a now sadly defunct restaurant near me used to dip them in white chocolate, which was so delicious you could hardly believe it was legal. And I’m not even a fan of white chocolate.

But what’s even more important is what your fortune cookies say. For the first time, you’re in control! You can make them say anything you want! Ah, the heady power! Need some help getting started? Check out Innocent English. Some of my favorites include:

  • THAT WASN’T CHICKEN.
  • You will receive a fortune cookie.
  • Never wear your best pants when you go to fight for freedom.

If you’re making them for friends, you could have a lot of fun writing prophecies that actually sound like stuff that might happen to your friends.
