Make your own Halloween costume

by Jen

Making your own Halloween costumes can save you money and give you more options than you’ll find in stores. It’s a fun way to express your creativity, too, because almost anything goes.

  • There’s more than enough time to knit the witch’s hat pictured here for this Halloween.
  • Get some really practical, cheap costume ideas that mostly involve using things you already have from RobinsFYI.
  • CostumeIdeaZone has tons of suggestions, including a section of 60-second costume ideas, and recommendations for couples or groups costumes. And I never would’ve thought of being a Speed Bump for Halloween.
  • As always, Kaboose has lots of suggestions and clear instructions on how to make them.
