Make your own spray-on leave-in conditioner
by Jen
To make your own leave-in conditioner, you need:
- A spray bottle. You can use one that’s had another product in it as long as you rinse it well with hot water.
- Regular conditioner in a bottle.
- Water.
Then you mix conditioner and water together in the bottle, and you’ve got spray-on leave-in conditioner that works just as well as ready-made products. It’s hard to say what the right proportion of conditioner to water is. It depends on your brand and your hair’s needs. Try about one part conditioner to three parts water. You can always adjust the mix later, once you’ve seen how you like it.
This is much cheaper than buying a leave-in product because one bottle of conditioner will make several bottles of the leave-in version.

I make my own spray on leave -in conditioner as well by mixing aloe vera gel, hair conditioner and distilled water and store it in a spray bottle. I have got permed (curly) hair and I use the mixture every so often to refresh and hydrate my curls
