Netflix: now watch unlimited movies online

Netflix is now offering unlimited online movie watching with its plans. These are movies you download on your computer to watch, not the actual DVDs that are mailed to you. There used to be a cap of three online movies per month (on my plan, anyway), but now you can watch all you like – as long as you have Windows with Internet Explorer. (Here’s hoping they’ll expand browser/platform choices in the near future.)

Now, the selection of online movies is a lot smaller than the selection of movies you can have mailed to you. It’s currently 6,000 online titles compared with over 70,000 DVD titles. But that’s still a lot of movies.
