I kept getting phone calls that my warentee on my car was about to run out & I should extend it. The car is a 1998 Le Baron with over 100,000 miles on it. After pushing 3 (or whatever) to be removed from the calling list, I still got them. After talking to a person I still got them. I talked to a supervisor & still got them. Called the phone co. & the cust. servixce rep. said he was getting them too & there was nothing anyone could do to trace where they came from. It’s happening all over the US, I guess. So yesterday when they called again I was ready. I pushed 1 to talk to a person & said, “If I’m not removed from their list, this is what will happen.” & I blew a whistle that I had gotton from my insur. co. to use in case of assault – SUPER shrill. Let’s hope breaking a few eardrums will work.

Many companies will remove you from the mailing list when this happens. But check the link for more tips for when that’s not enough. [...]
