Replacing negative self-talk
Worry is designed to make it hard for you to procrastinate on fixing problems. In simpler times - like the Stone Age - this was a good thing. Most problems had to do with survival, and taking care of them immediately could be the difference between life and death.

How to make a tea infuser out of tin foil
The other day, a friend wanted to share with me a delicious loose tea he'd bought in Chinatown recently, but neither of us had a tea infuser handy. Tea infusers (like the one in the picture) are those little mesh balls that open up so you can put the tea leaves inside. Then...

Infused water recipes – refreshing non-alcoholic summer drinks
Spanish cuisine brought us aguas frescas, water infused with fruit juices or juices from veggies like cucumber. They have a very light, refreshing flavor that's definitely not just water, but they're not as heavy as a smoothie. The only problem: most recipes load them up...

If your pantry (or cabinets) is getting full of jumbled miscellany, cooking can become a depressing chore. At least once a year (I’d say every 6 months for most people), you should clean it out.
Start with the obvious. Go through every item looking for past expiration dates – toss ‘em. Also keep an eye out for things your family hasn’t eaten in months, or that you bought to try but no one else was interested. If they’re still good, these ...
