Recipes for molasses cookies

cookiesI love molasses cookies, and they’re so very seasonal right now. Not Martha has a delicious-sounding recipe for Sparkling Chewy Molasses Cookies, which is in turn based on the Chewy Molasses-Spice Cookies from Martha Stewart. They’re spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, and because of the molasses they should have a richer sweetness than cookies sweetened exclusively with sugar.

Here’s another recipe that uses brown sugar instead of white and adds ginger to the spices.

And here’s one for soft molasses cookies – it uses rum.
