Windows Tricks: Save YouTube vids and put tabs above your taskbar

Yes, there is a way to rip YouTube videos and save them to your PC in MPG or AVI format. The above-linked is a Windows method. Anyone know of a Mac solution? It can’t be that hard, and may even be easier.

And this may not be for everyone, but it sure is cool.
