Spotlight Post: Sashiko Tutorial

Sashiko embroidery is one of my favorite crafts.  It’s easy to master and the process is very meditative and relaxing.  Although the patterns can look difficult, they are just a matter of breaking down the whole into linear parts.

This is a great introduction to a Japanese form of embroidery that doesn’t require an embroidery hoop, so you can carry your project anywhere.
