Tape for lint cleaning
by Jen
If you want to clean lint off your clothing and you’re away from your favorite lint-cleaning tool, take a piece of plain old tape and dab the sticky side against the lint. This will clean lint off even the most delicate fabric without damage. (I find it easiest to stick one end of the tape strip to the other, forming a ring, sticky side out.)
You can also use shipping tape – the wider, stickier stuff – particularly on garments that won’t let the lint go easily with regular tape.

One thing I’ve found that also works is to use rubber items, like thick rubber bands wrapped around your fingers or those gloves you use to clean the bathroom

If you loosely crumple up a ball of masking tape, and gently pat it on the uphosltery of your sofa and easy chair, you’ll pick up lots of things, too. Animal dander, hair, crumbs, etc.
