Toodledo

by Jen (May 18, 2007)

I’ve been playing with Toodledo lately. It’s a very flexible online To Do list that lets you sort tasks into folders, establish priorities and set up repeating tasks on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. basis. You can also integrate it with a FireFox plugin: keep your list in the side the sidebar or just access it from Tools menu. On that same page is a Google plugin which integrates it with your Google homepage.

It also offers a calendar, a scheduler (like Outlook) and the ability to print a foldable brochure of your to do items and notes on them.

The Pro Version - which you can get for $14.95 a year or by referring friends who upgrade to Pro, offers more features. The Scheduler:

The Scheduler is useful for when you are feeling indecisive or don’t have the energy or motivation to be as productive as you could be. All you need to do is specify how much time you have available to work and Toodledo will tell you what to do.

Toodledo analyzes your due-dates, priorities, time estimates, last modified dates, and other characteristics to determine the best use of your time. If you have 2 hours free, Toodledo can pick the tasks from your list that will be the most effective usage of your time.

Yep, I know that feeling. And the Goals section lets you set lifelong and more immediate goals, and track your progress with them. Stats makes a graph to show you how productive you’re being and help you see which folders you’re using most.

For implementing GTD you might try out this new web-based application:

    http://www.gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use
    checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.

    Hope you like it.

As with the last update, now Gtdagenda has full Someday/Maybe functionality, you can easily move your tasks and projects between “Active”, “Someday/Maybe” and “Archive”. This will clear your mind, and will boost your productivity.

With the new added iCal feed, now you can subscribe to Gtdagenda with third party services like Google Calendar or Apple iCal, and stay up-to-date with your Gtdagenda tasks.
