Use aluminum foil to keep screws in place in wood

970593_silver_foil_paper_textureWhen screws work lose from holes in wood too many times, the hole can become to big to grip the screw properly. Just fill up the hole with aluminum foil and put the screw in again – the aluminum should hold it securely in there.

I haven’t tried this with plaster or other materials – anyone else? My guess is that it would work.
