Use part of the paper towel or tissue
Whether you’re looking to save money or the planet, you may have noticed what a waste it is to use a paper towel or tissue for a very small job that leaves most of the paper product clean. Those half-size paper towels help, but in just a few minutes every couple of weeks, you can cut up even those paper towels – and tissues – into small squares and keep a stash of those handy for small jobs.
You’d be surprised how much more slowly you go through these items. If you have a cosmetic routine where you need just a portion of a tissue every morning to dab at something, you’ll be going through tissues at a quarter or eighth (depending how small you cut them) the speed you normally do. And in the kitchen, there are often little spills and drippings and bits of crumbs that need wiped up – now they won’t take a whole paper towel.

OK, I agree, but how in the world do you store 1/8 of a paper towel, or 1/4 of a Kleenex?
I just stack mine on the counter, but you could also stack them in a small box or case of some sort.
