Cassette tape wallet
I never thought of making a wallet out of a cassette tape before, but what a way to re-purpose old cassette tapes! This could be a very cool party favor/stocking stuffer kind of gift, too.
You take an old cassette tape you don’t want anymore, get some glue, a zipper and some fabric, and make a little wallet like the one in the picture to carry all sorts of things: photographs, a few bucks and/or credit card (nice and lightweight for when you’re doing errands on foot), parking meter change, some cough drops or an emergency sewing kit to stash in your car, purse or workplace.
Kids will need some guidance with this project because prying a cassette tape apart can be tricky, but this is otherwise a great project – or treat – for them.
